Medicine Making Day: Wild Nettles

Where: Truckee, CA-location will be shared upon registration

Time: 10 am-2 pm

What You'll Learn:
The focus of this class and our time together will be on getting to know the local nettle population along our waterways and how to ethically & lovingly identify, harvest and make endless medicine and creations with nettle. Together we will harvest, offer gifts along the way and make medicine to take home!

We will celebrate with some nettle tastings at the end of class and some special nettle kitchen delights. If you desire, bring a dish to share-potluck style! Rumor has it my partner is bringing our portable pizza oven and making some nettle pizzas.

Who This is For:

This class is open to all ages, so bring kids, mom & dad, your partner or grandma! This class is perfect for the beginner herbalist or those interested in connecting with their local ecosystem and learning to nourish themselves and their families with food and medicines from the High Sierra. 

Exchange:

$100 per person includes a take home educational booklet, take home wild harvested nettles and nettle medicine made in class and a light potluck to share!
